Seasonal Progression
Using a mixture of perennials with successive flowering periods is a great way to keep pollinators happy in your garden all season long. KALEIDOSCOPE™ Delosperma will provide a season long groundcover, with flowers in late spring and early summer. LIVING LARGE® Salvia will bloom in early and midsummer to extend color. ROCK ‘N GROW® Sedum will add foliage interest starting in spring, before flowering in mid to late summer and leaving being attractive seedheads for fall and winter interest. PRAIRIE WINDS® Ornamental Grasses will fill in through summer with fine texture before appearing with elegant seedheads in fall. If left standing, PRAIRIE WINDS® Grasses will provide winter interest.
