Seasonal Progression
Foliage and flowers combine with this combo to create a bright spot in shady garden areas. Begin with the silver speckled foliage of ‘Pink-a-Blue’ Pulmonaria and ‘Jack of Diamonds’ Brunnera; these are early flowering perennials that will wake up early in spring and give you immediate returns. After the flowers fade, the leaves will hold interest through summer and into fall. In early summer sprays of cream flowers will emerge over the fine textured ‘Chantilly Lace’ Goatsbeard. ‘Webmaster’ Spiderwort will bring a complemeting narrow foliage with flower clusters appearing all summer.
